Awful experience. Was with Webfusion for 3 years; decided to leave as they were costly and .NET platform was very slow. Asked to move via an email, didn't renew my payment as I'd changed credit card. Was bombarded with debt recovery agency threats, despite saying that I'd told them I wanted to leave.
Terrible, terrible company - ruthless to the point that the woman on the phone I was speaking to almost admitted how ruthless they were in pursuing customers who wanted to leave.
Steer well clear....

Terrible customer service - the billing team have cancelled my server 6 times over the last year because of mistakes they have made. It doesn't matter who I talk to, the problem can't be resolved. They have my payment details and have been taking money from me, but have shut down the server due to non-payment - totally at the end of my tether with them and have to move.
READ THIS AND OTHER REVIEWS OF WEBFUSION - not good......

At first, I ignored all the bad comments and reveiws about WebFusion, and decided to purchase a VPS from them.
Possibly one of my worst mistakes ever! The VPS arrived broken, missing items that were advertised, and the support team were almost impossible to get hold of.
They took over 2 weeks to reply to one of my emails, and the reply was very simple, which didn't answer my question.
Please, if you don't want to waste your money, DO NOT purchase from WebFusion....

They are very very poor. They expect you to pay for the phonecall to helpdesk (I would not need to call if the service I pay them £18/month for worked .. ), keep you waiting for ages and are worse than useless when you finally get through. "Could care less" attitude abounds in the Front line support who seem both educationally challenged and untrained. They have difficulty understanding even the simplest of concepts and 9 times out of 10 have to refer to second line support. Even then they mostly return with responses which make it clear they have not understood the problem. Today I needed a manual reset and reinstall of Frontpage extensions which had become corrupted and could not be done through the control panel. Called 10 am, waited ages. Despite telling him the history I was asked to reset though control panel and reiterated that I had already done this twice. The response was please to do it again! I did it, surprise surprise it did not work, and called back 11 am. "We are moving...

Don't just take my word for how appalling WebFusion's technical support are. Read it for yourself. I've put the entire two months of ineptitude on my website at www.niftyprograms.com
Look out for the bit where I have to tell the support guy to allow IE to display popups to view the output of software that he's supposed to be supporting.
HostingComments, we should be allowed to award zero out of five. I object to giving WebFusion a point they don't deserve....

A complete disaster....steer clear. Their suppprt is a nightmare too. 10p a minute but you can end up hanging for 30 minutes before someone answers...yes they'll tell you. I needed to migrate my domain to another provider, get the nameservers changed. I requested this, they notified me that the site was ready to move, gave no authorisation code, then deleted my website the next day. Still trying after a week to get in contact with someone who knows something and have also passed it on to my solicitor to investigate. Be aware of this company....same as 123, host europe and pipex....their all the same and as far as I am concerned useless.
I was with magic moments originally and they were bought over by host europe. Once that happened things went downhill rapidly, from excellent support to sub standard. Spend you money elsewhere....

Our Web Fusion VPS went offline last week. At the time of writing (7 days later) it is still offline.
We have used Web Fusion for the past couple of years and this was the first major problem we have encountered. My experience has shown up some major problems with the Web Fusion support.
Firstly, the on line ticketing system is OK for simple problems that can rectified immediately. However, if they reply asking for mor information, your response goes to the bottom of the queue.
Secondly, if you call the support number you have to deal with the person who picks up the call. This means that there is no continuity and you will end up explaining the problem over and over again.
Thirdly, when things are taking too long to be resolved, there is absolutely no mechanism for escalating the problem into the management structure.
Lastly, although the support is 24/7, don't expect anything other than relatively simple queries to be handled outside normal office hours.

Easy to order, thats the only positive about webfusion.
Transfered an account with them from a single site hosting to a resller account, they have carried on billing me for 2 years on the old account even though not used even after a number attempts to cancel.
Very unhelpful service, very unhelpful support, very crap admin interface.
I cant stress enough how much you need to avoid this company....

To leave webfusion is not easy in my opinion.
Read Webfusion terms and conditions carefully if you are thinking of signing up ( personally and in my opinion I would not advise it). They could get very forceful and include the use of debt recovery and addition charges if you don’t toe the line.
A 30 day cancellation policy is enforced harshly even if you write in a letter of complaint they will still threaten if not take debt recovery action against you adding to the costs without even replying to your letter.
It seems in my opinion that subscripton to Webfusion is easy and takes just a few minutes online but when you want to leave faithfully you must expect it to take 30 days minimum. If that time period runs over the 30 days to expiration you become liable for resubscription no iffs or buts.
Be warned - Don't Bother
