" I've been with ValueWeb for 6 years, and host three domains with them. Yes, I pay a little more for their hosting than I might with some other "El Cheapo" hosting plans, but frankly I pay a lot less than with some other "pro" hosting companies who mostly have statistics that are much worse.
ValueWeb really has it all together. Their "call me back" tech support has never missed a beat, and of the very few trouble tickets I've had, I've never had one last more than 12 hours - and 93.75% of them have been resolved instantly! (Actually, 16 support calls over 6 years is something to brag about, too!) ...

I have been with this company since 2004. It has been what I tell others a nightmare, in service, reliability, and customer service. As of today, Sept 12 2007 I have been without my website for 3 days, customer service now says it could be another 2 days longer. This is not good for a business that deals with time sensitive data. Finally I have decided it is time to start searching for a another hosting company. I would suggest running if you hear Valueweb....

Valueweb is fine until anything goes wrong. Then they hold your data hostage.
I've had a couple of instances where a disk started to go bad on a dedicated server, or once there was a break in. Their answer is always to take the server offline with ZERO PRIOR NOTICE and remove the disk. On each occassion, they had some recent data that I needed, and their only option is for me to buy the drive and then they would ship it out, to arrive in 2 weeks (I'm in another country). When they could very simply mount the drive or tar it up.
Likewise, they wouldn't install a more recent release of my OS. Installing FC5 when FC8 is already available.
I've been a customer for 3 years, but am now looking for another provider....

We had valueweb for a long time, but when we had problems receiving email their tech support was not helpful. They had major outages and sent a lengthy excuse a few days after the fact. This is not a company on the rise. We are looking for another company to host our mail...we have lost confidence in valueweb. ...
