Worst host. EVER. Period.
Customer support is nothing. Calling ANY of their phone numbers during their advertised "phone line open" time gets you a voicemail. NO one responded to my numerous messages I left them and I tried to call them atleast 3 times 3 different days.
ICQ support is virtually nothing. No one is there to help you and most of the time they ask you to open a ticket. It took me 2 hours to get hold of someone and they are usually logged off.
Email support takes 22 hours to get a reply to and usually it is one-2 sentence replies such as "we're working on it" or "wait 7 business days for server page to be fixed".
Downtime was frequent and expect NO MORE than 96.6% uptime which is what I got.
All servers are slow.
DON'T BE FOOLED BY THE OVERSELLING, THEY ARE THE WORST!...

I use lypha about 1 month and have daily downtime 5 min-3 hour. Quite good support, but when the problems begin (and they begin daily) it is silent. I think to select other company....

I've been with Lypha for about a month and have had nothing but problems. They advertise that they support Interchange, but it seems to break every day and their support doesn't seem to know about it until you tell them. Their phone number just leads to a voicemail, which goes nowhere. If you can find someone on ICQ they are from India and don't know how to fix the problems. Open a ticket and it will still be sitting there unresolved days later. Definitely not recommended if you have a site that you care about.

i use lypha and all i have is problems they have alot of down time dont reply emails and it wont upload any frontpage pages i made...

service appears good, ie., quick replies to trouble e tickets, and usually IS good for simple maint tasks. until approx 1 month ago, reliability was very good, but for the last several weeks, the web site (plus pure application (LAMP) sites avail internally)become unavailable. repeated pleas to fix this have resulted only in apologies/we've fixed it.
one months bad service probably shouldn't be completely significant, but one month of answering irate phone calls from my customers is unacceptable.
the pricing can't be beaten for what they offer - if the reliability issues aren't resolved, i will be forced to move to another host....

I had used Lypha as a host since 2003 largely without problems. Last week, they managed to screw up the permissions on all my folders and files for my 12 domains that I'm hosting with them, and it's going on 2 days since contacting them that they have not fixed the problem. My customers can't use my e-commerce site. Lypha tech support recommends changing permissions file-by-file with their web interface, not easy if you have over 4000 files online. They have told me 3 times that they fixed the problem, only for me to find a broken file on the first try. No phone support is available. I would highly not recommend them....

Have been with Lypha for about two years with mini-reseller account. Started off fairly well over the last few months reliability has eroded especially when it comes to their mail server being listed as a "spammer". This usually results in my clients' email accounts being blocked even though they are not spammers of any kind. When Lypha's mail server gets listed, it shuts down everyone.
The short, terse email responses from tech support are the rule and any attempt at probing a bit at why something broke and how they are going to prevent it in the future, are ignored.
For the last few weeks, I've had to contact Lypha at least once a week on simple things that should not break but somehow do.
The comment made by others about their telephone number being answered by voice mail is definitely true. I've had urgent issues that prompted me to call in addition to opening a ticket. When I called the number, the voice mail greetings doesn't even mention Lypha...seems very strange ...

I have hosted with them over 2 year(can't believe it) and have tolerated the frequent down time issues. But the recent event is my last straw. I couldn't access my website, my email and even Ftp. I have even did an online ping from different countries and it has over at least 50% lost packets from over 10 different countries!!!!! That is just horrible and its inexcusable!!!. Whoever hosted their website with them might not be accessible via certain countries. Good luck to whoever hosted with them....

Lypha's customer service is just plain NOT good, slow in responding, when you call you end up in India or Pakistan, talking to someone who hardly understand english and speaks it very poorly.
I had to spell out url about 15 times...
truly sucky service !...

I was with Lypha for 5 years and the last two years the service just got worse and worse in every way. I finally had to cancel and go with another hosting. I emailed Lypha and they confirmed my account was canceled and CC credited back. I'm yet to see a credit and they have been ignoring my emails. I submitted a complaint with BBB but they already have 10 unsatisfactory complaints about Lypha with rating of "F". STAY AWAY FROM THESE GUYS, THERE ARE MANY GOOD HOSTINGS OUT THERE. THESE PEOPLE SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN.
