Comments : I've been hosting with HFW for 5+ years. I've hosted through other companies, and put detection scripts into my programing, to learn they went over my programing I was developing! (theft intent????) I have had nothing but HIGH security with HFW, and virtually ALL down time was due to MY FAULT. Either with my programs or NOT clicking the links in the manager to upgrade to the latest versions of programing (apache etc). I rate their support the highest of any company web or non web related I've EVER dealt with! An extremely happy, and IMPRESSED, long term HFW customer....

Comments: I had my website hosted by hostforeweb for over 4 years and saw their service drop form stellar to absolutely horrible, forcing me to seek out a new hosting company. I don't know where to begin with how disappointed I was with them. Their mailervers went down almost every two weeks until I finally hired a third party to handle my mailing lists. When I had problems, their tech support was so incompetent that I often would have to ask the tech support for my message boards look into the hostforweb problems to tell me how to tell HFW tech support how to fix it. Once, they suspended my account without prior notice and accused me of using the website to spread spam. I had to instruct tech support on how to read the header of the offending email to show that it was spoofed and not from my website. The first time their server hosting our site was hacked it was through, according to their own words, "An old and well known bug in Cpanel". When I asked them why this "old and wel...

Comments: Tech support is horrible. I\'ve had to actually train their support staff on basic things that I needed corrected. Return DNS never seems to work. Can\'t use any email on any website on that server to sign up for anything that requires email verification. Their Fantastico is outdated by a number of versions and years. For instance, they offer Joomla 1.0.12. Current version of Joomla is 1.5 (with 1.0.15 still being very viable). Would love to work with current versions of programs. Like the reviewer before me, I thought their service was stellar. Now it\'s in the cellar....

Comments: This is the worst host I have ever been with, service has been down for hours with no help from the support staff. They have stole my money and they will not give it back! Please do not host with this company unless you like lots of downtime and no support....

Comments: This company is utterly abysmal and completely incompetent, even at the manager level. My billing ticket is still unresolved after nearly 6 weeks and they continued to charge me after cancellation and lie about making the refund. Even the managers do not read the tickets. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Ever. Avoid like the plague....
